Description

National Preparedness Month (NPM) is an annual campaign that encourages individuals, families, and communities to take proactive steps to prepare for potential emergencies and disasters.

In 2025, individuals and communities are encouraged to participate by:

  • Assessing Risks:  Understanding the specific risks that may affect their area and planning accordingly.
  • Creating Emergency Plans: Developing and practicing emergency plans with family members and community groups.
  • Utilizing Resources: Taking Advantage of the resources provided by FEMA and other organization to enhance preparedness efforts.

By participating in National Preparedness Month, everyone can contribute to building safer and more resilient communities.
